Jamie Swafford was selected as January’s Employee of the Month. Jamie is in her first year of teaching all over again after taking some time off to raise her children. Jamie was nominated by Jeremy Boldra. She is characterized as one who has sprung forth new life in our middle school science department as well as the high school biology course. Jamie is a hard worker who always plans interesting and engaging activities in the classroom, and kids once again are loving science. Jamie has gone above and beyond by raising interest in robotics through her mini camps/club. One day she made an enormous “cell” that kids could literally step into explore and learn –it was awesome! We are very lucky to have Ms. Swafford. She will receive a certificate and a Flinthills jacket.
