The Read Across America Week Library Fundraiser raised $419 for the school library, and things got a little… goat-crazy in the process. Intermediate students (and a few helpful adults) voted with their dollars by filling jars to decide which teacher would earn the honor of kissing a goat.
After a week of intense jar-filling competition, Mrs. Cogdell and Mrs. Thomas finished in a tie, meaning they both proudly claimed the title of “The Goat Kisser.” 🐐💋
A big thank you to everyone who donated, to the teachers and paras who were brave enough to participate, and of course to Dory the Goat, who handled her moment in the spotlight like a true professional. The library gained some funds, and the students gained a memory they probably won’t forget anytime soon! 📚🐐
