Results are in! I took four new TSA members to compete at State. None had been to a TSA state competition before but approached every competition with 100% effort and with a positive attitude. Our tech bowl team tested high enough to get ranked 7th on the bracket. They battled it out and walked away with a fourth place win.
The theme for On-Demand Video was a parody. A cell phone, sunglasses & a roll of Smarties had to be shown in the video and the phrase “What was that?” had to be said. The boys did a lot of brainstorming & came up with a “The Fast and the Foolish” plot which earned them a second place at state!
Newell was also recognized by Pitsco at their demonstration for asking great questions and helping others during the hands on demo. Xavier was recognized by Pitsco as well during a different demonstration, and he earned some swag for completing the scavenger hunt!
