My name is Delayney Mahnken, and I am a dedicated and passionate educator with 2 years of experience in the field of education. Currently, I serve as the Agricultural Educator at Flinthills Middle/High School in Rosalia, KS, where I am committed to fostering a positive and engaging learning environment for all my students.
I hold Bachelor's in Agricultural Education and Secondary Education from Fort Hays State University, where I developed a strong foundation in educational theories and practices. I furthered my education by earning a Master's from Kansas State University, which equipped me with advanced strategies for Agricultural Education.
Throughout my career, I have been recognized for my innovative teaching methods and dedication to student success. I have a particular interest in sharing agriculture will all stakeholders, and I continuously seek out professional development opportunities to stay current with the latest educational trends and research.
In the classroom, I strive to create a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere where all students feel valued and encouraged to achieve their best. I utilize a variety of instructional strategies to cater to diverse learning styles and needs, ensuring that each student can thrive academically and personally.
Beyond the classroom, I am an active member of the school community. I am the Flinthills FFA Chapter Advisor, demonstrating my commitment to the holistic development of my students. Additionally, I often collaborate with colleagues and parents to support a cohesive and supportive educational environment.
In my free time, I enjoy reading my Bible, spending time with family, surfing, riding horses, running, baking, and much more! All of which often provide inspiration and new ideas for my teaching practice. I believe in lifelong learning and strive to instill this value in my students, preparing them to be curious, critical thinkers who are ready to face the challenges of the future.
With a deep passion for education and a dedication to nurturing young minds, I continue to make a significant impact on the lives of my students and the broader school community.
