Flinthills USD 492 enrollment will be held next Monday, July 27th, at the Primary School in Cassoday and Tuesday, July 28th, at the High School in Rosalia. Enrollment assistance will be available from 1:00 to 7:00 p.m. at both locations.
Online Enrolment Link
At 1:00 p.m. on Mon/bday, July 27th, when enrollment officially begins in Cassoday, an online enrollment link will be sent to all district families. It will come as an email, a text message, or both.
The link will also be shared through the USD 492 Website and the district's official Facebook page. Families should monitor these locations for enrollment information, updates, and important announcements.
Apptegy Rooms Account Invitations
A mass Apptegy Rooms invitation will be sent to parents and guardians this afternoon, Friday, 7/24. The invitation may arrive by text message or email and will include instructions for creating or accessing a Rooms account.
If you have already created your Rooms account, your children are correctly listed, and your contact information in PowerSchool is current, there is nothing further you need to do.
Parents and guardians who have not created an account should follow the instructions included in the invitation. When registering, use the same phone number or email address that you received the invitation on.
Apptegy Rooms will serve as an official district communication tool for families, teachers, coaches, administrators, and school staff. Rooms is built directly into the district's mobile app, so families do not need to download a separate Rooms app. It may also be accessed through a web browser.
Rooms provides families with one secure location to:
Receive classroom, activity, and team announcements
Communicate directly with teachers, coaches, and staff members
View reminders, materials, and information for classes and groups
Receive notifications through text message, email, or the district app
Automatically translate messages into a preferred language
Keep communication for multiple children organized within one account
Rooms is available at no cost to families.
Enrollment Assistance and Information Tables
Several tables will be available during enrollment to help families complete required forms, receive information, and prepare for the upcoming school year.
These tables will include:
District forms and other paperwork
School Nurse information
Counselor information
Building Administration
Mustang apparel, gear, and school merchandise
Door-prize registration
Apptegy Rooms and PowerSchool assistance
Mr. Casteel and building secretaries will operate the Apptegy Rooms and PowerSchool assistance tables.
They will be available to help families who:
Did not receive a Rooms invitation
Are having difficulty creating or accessing an account
Need help downloading or navigating the district app
Cannot see one or more of their children in Rooms
Need to update or verify contact information in PowerSchool
Need assistance accessing or setting up a PowerSchool account
Door-Prize Eligibility
Families will have an opportunity to register for door prizes during enrollment. To be eligible to win, families must have completed enrollment and be registered for Apptegy Rooms by 12:00 noon on Wednesday, July 29.
Families who have already created their Rooms accounts do not need to register again, provided their accounts are working correctly, and their PowerSchool information is current.

Primary School Enrollment: Cassoday
Monday, July 27 1:00–7:00 p.m.
High School Enrollment: Rosalia
Tuesday, July 28 1:00–7:00 p.m.
Families may attend either enrollment session and may stop by at any time between 1:00 and 7:00 p.m.
Please bring the phone or device you plan to use for Rooms and PowerSchool. Mr. Casteel will have computers set up for parents who may need access to one at Enrollment. You should also be able to access the email account or phone number listed in PowerSchool so that you can receive any verification codes required during the account setup process.
