March 2014, the FHS Theatre and Music Departments combined to perform the beloved musical, The Sound of Music.  42 students acted, sang, and ran tech work for the major production.  The set was completely mobile with the Von Trapp family home dispersing from the stage so forest trees, concert stage, an estate terrace, and the Nonnberg Abbey could arrive.  Five youth from the intermediate and primary schools joined the cast to create the Captain's family.  The cast and crew were effective in moving, the ordinarily lengthy musical, at a quick pace.
