May 2019 Employee of the Month
Lisa Taylor was selected as the May Employee of the Month. Lisa has been a para at Cassoday since 2011, and she was a substitute for 2 years prior. Mrs. Taylor was nominated by Crystal Ratcliff who characterized her as one who has a part in almost every area of Flinthills Primary. She starts her morning by helping serve breakfast. Then she goes right into teaching our Pathways to Reading groups. After that, she helps in the classroom or the library. Then she goes to the lunchroom to help serve our little ones. In the afternoon, she’s back in the classroom before stepping up to teach library and art in our Specials rotation. She’s also the first one to help out when we need help in the office or the Pre-K. Mrs. Taylor continually goes above and beyond her job description as a paraprofessional, and she always does it with a smile. Mrs. Taylor will receive a certificate and a Flinthills Jacket.
