Pumpkin Centers
On Halloween the 3rd and 4th graders participated in Halloween centers and pumpkin carving. The students enjoyed making pasta skeletons, pumpkin play doh, and pumpkin pie. They learned about the life cycle of a pumpkin and if a pumpkin sinks or floats. The students also did some measuring and estimating with the pumpkins. Then in the afternoon, students carved pumpkins. They had a great time and it was a fun day!
