Congratulations!!! To our Middle School Scholars Bowl Teams. Both the JV (7th grade) and the Varsity (8th grade) took first place and brought home gold medals from Central Burden. It was a great showing and lots of questions answered. They have another meet on Monday, the 27th at West Elk.
Oh, what A Night! Last Night your Forensics Team took the 1st Place Sweepstakes Award at the Oxford Invitational Tournament! Forensics students have been working very hard to qualify more to State Champs, and they did! Those who qualified for state last evening are Tessa Bragg in Serious Solo Acting, Emily Green in Poetry, Bailey Smith in Prose, Sarah Sorum and Sarah Hinnen in Duet Acting, Javen McCreight in Extemp, and Joey Whipple and Philip Humig in Improvised Duet Acting. Other medalists were Elizabeth Dennis, Jada Humig, Emily Joseph, Destiny Lawrence, Christian Roller, Kolton Melugin, Adia Witherspoon, Peyten Girty, and Rachel Bell.
