Class of 2010

updated January 20, 2010

Seniors - graduation is coming soon! Don't start slacking off - make every moment of your senior year count! Winter Homecoming is fast approaching - time to dig out your green again!

Plans for senior trip are well underway. With that in mind, we feel there are several things that demand your attention.
First, we would like to remind you that the trip is an event sanctioned by the Board of Education in honor of your completing your high school career by graduating from FHS. The trip is a privilege and not a right, and it can be withdrawn at any time a student or group of students does not conform to the rules of conduct prescribed by the Board of Education and the Administration.
In addition, there are several other responsibilities that must be met before you may go on the trip. They are as follows:
1. Dues and fines for all years enrolled in FHS must be paid by January 13, 2010.
2. The senior must work in the concessions stand as designated by the class president and sponsors.
3. All money owed to the senior class or USD 492 must be paid by January 13, 2010.
4. The senior agrees to be financially responsible for the profit earned from the sale of 20 magazines or equivalent items at $10 per item.
5. A parental consent form for the trip must be signed by the senior’s parent or guardian and returned to a class sponsor by May 2, 2010.
6. “Students who complete requirements after their determining class has graduated will be part of the present graduating class, will not attend the senior class trip, and shall not participate in graduation ceremonies.” – Art.8, Requirements for Graduation, Flinthills Student Handbook, p.5

For the students not wishing to take part in the senior trip or those not fulfilling the responsibilities of this contract, there will be no refund of any dues paid in the past or return of any monies turned in to the class for money making projects.
CONCESSION PENALTIES:
5-30 minutes late: $10.00
More than 30 minutes late or failure to work when assigned:
1st Offense: $50.00
2nd Offense: $75.00
3rd Offense: Not allowed to go on the senior trip
