KANSAS MASONIC FOUNDATION STUDENT LOAN/SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM
Low interest loans are available each year from the Kansas
Masonic foundation to Kansas residents attending a Kansas
institution of higher learning as a full-time student. These
multi-year loans are designed to assist a student throughout a 1,
2, 3, or 4-year educational process. Repayment starts one year
after completion of school and is accomplished over a 4-year
period. These are exceptional loams and in some cases can be
repayed by the Masonic Foundation.

WENDY’S HEISMAN AWARD PROGRAM
The Wendy’s Heisman award program, in conjunction with the
collegiate
Heisman, celebrates the achievements of the nation’s top high
school seniors
both in and out of the classroom.
Created in 1994, the Wendy’s High School Heisman program, has been
celebrating
Youth excellence for 13 years. The program consists of five
phases-nomination, state
finalists, state winners, national finalists and national winners.
Entries are initially evaluated
by ACT Assessment during the state finalist and state winner phases
and then passed on
to a distinguished panel of judges.
Twelve national finalists are invited to participate in the Heisman
weekend
festivities during an all-expense paid trip to New York City in
December. ESPN2
will feature all 12 national finalists during the Wendy’s High
School Heisman Awards
Ceremony.
Any Senior who has participated in at least one sport and has
excelled academically
may go on-line and fill out an application which is reviewed by
each high school counselor
and then sent on to a Wendy’s committee for judging. One boy and
one girl from each
high school is selected to attend the first phase of the program
which includes a
banquet provided by the Wendy’s organization.
