4th Annual FFA Farm Day 2018
On Wednesday May the 9th, 2018, Flinthills High School hosted the 4th annual FFA Farm Day. This years featured exhibits included a Starter Safety Station followed by a tour of Construction and Farm Equipment, Forage Production Equipment and Animal Handling Systems. There were also multiple stations displaying various livestock and farm animals. The animals included cows, horses, ducks, rabbits, pigs, goats and sheep. To wrap up the tour students made old fashioned home made ice cream followed by a food safety presentation. A huge shout out must be given to all of the Middle and High School students who helped put on the days activities and Mr. Myrick for organizing the amazing event. Another huge shout out must go to the numerous members of the Flinthills Community that brought in equipment and animals to display.
