Nine Square in the Air
The Flinthills Intermediate is enjoying a new game called “Nine Square in the Air” during physical education. The game is a combination of the Four Square game played on the ground, and Volleyball. The game is made up of nine, six foot squares made out of pvc pipe and is played anywhere from five to seven foot in the air. The object is to hit the ball into a person’s square so they can’t hit it back. The game moves very fast and the students seem to enjoy it very much.
A special thanks goes out to the PTO organization who contributed the money for the pvc pipe and fittings, and Mr. Worrells’ shop class who helped Mr. Harms build it. This is another example of a community and school working together to do what is best for our students. THANKS AGAIN!!!!!
