Dancing in P.E.
Intermediate PE students learned to dance the Polka. As a child, Mrs. Gray went to Polka dances with her parents, and she decided it might be fun for the kids to learn the lively dance. They learned ballroom dance position, and the boys learned to start left, so they could lead. Girls started off the right foot and were to follow the boys’ lead. However, some of the girls were seen dragging their partners around at times.
