For those who are unaware, the North Gymnasium is getting a facelift! We are so excited to play on the new floor this season. It has been sanded down and will be getting a new paint job before it is refinished. Unfortunately, these enhancements will not be completed by June 27th for the 2016 Summer Basketball Camp. With the number of athletes attending camp this year expected to exceed 60-75 athletes, it has been decided that camp will be postponed until July 11th - 15th. Since Football Camp is scheduled to be held that week also, the Summer Basketball Camp will be held in the afternoon rather than in the morning. Camp will begin at 3:30 pm daily for the 6th - 12th Graders. The 6th - 12th Graders will then end at 5:30 pm. The K - 5th Grade athletes will start camp at 6:00 pm daily and end at 7:30 pm.
I am truly sorry for any inconvenience this may cause, but I feel that for the kids to get the most out of camp and to totally enjoy the experience, this is the only option available. If you have any questions regarding registration or refunds, please contact me via email.

It is time to start preparing for the 2016 Flinthills Mustangs Summer Basketball Camp. This year's camp will begin Monday June 27th and continue through Friday July 1st. This year all student athletes, Kindergarten - 12th Grade, will attend camp for the entire week. Last year, the K-5th Graders only participated on Thursday and Friday of Summer Basketball Camp. The K-5th Graders will again have the opportunity to work directly with the high school student athletes and coaching staff for the entire week. For the 6th-12th Grade student athletes, camp will start at 8:30 am daily. Camp will end for the 6th-9th Graders at 10:30 am daily. These student athletes must clear the gym in order to prepare for the K-5th Grade camp session. For the K-5th Grade student athletes, camp will start at 11:00 am daily. For the K-5th Grade Campers and 10th-12th Grade Camp Coaches, camp will end at 12:30 noon daily.
In order to participate in the 2016 Flinthills Mustangs Summer Basketball Camp, student athletes must fill out and submit the Summer Basketball Camp Contact Information & Registration Form. Along with the Contact Information & Registration Form, a camp fee of $35 must also be submitted. The camp fee covers both the cost of camp attendance and each student athlete will also receive a Flinthills Mustangs Summer Basketball Camp T-Shirt and Water Bottle. Registration Forms may be found attached to this article or parents may pick them up from the high school office. The Registration Form and Fee can also be submitted to either the high school or grade school office. Please make checks payable to Flinthills High School.
To cap off the camp week the Flinthills Athletic Department will be hosting a pool party at the City of El Dorado Swimming Pool. The pool is located at 900 North Taylor Street and the party will be held from 6:00- 8:00 pm on Friday July 1st.
