The meeting was called to order at 6:05.
Those present were Connie Sorum, Tammy Brown, Monty Melugin, Larry Gawith, Sharon McClure, Sarah Grunder, Lisa Taylor and Denise Hodge.
Lisa read the minutes from September. Tammy made a motion to accept minutes as read, it was seconded by Sharon.
Connie read the Treasurers’ report
Movie Night spent more than expected, but made more than expected.
There were a couple new teachers’ requests turned in.
Lisa made a motion to accept the Treasurers’ report as read, it was seconded by Tammy.
Larry gave the Administration report.
Barnes and Noble Book fair is coming up.
Everything was going great at the schools.
We reviewed wish list requests turned in. After adding a total a motion was made to approve all submitted requests. It was seconded by Larry.
2 Mobbies, Willard’s, Grey’s, and Hodges’ requests, AR badges, and B. Andersons’ stereo totals approximately $1930. Lisa made a motion to approve $2000 -$2100. It was seconded by Connie.
Sharon McClure discussed the upcoming bookfair. It will be Saturday November 28 between 10-7. She said last year someone sent an email to many of the families and seemed to bring in several families.
Need to a lot of advertising because we can’t at the store. It was suggested to put signs at The Old Hat and The Gas Can, also area churches.
She was thinking about having a rodeo theme and having some of the district ropers there to have a demonstration.
Tammy gave the Box Top report
Have $451 this year.
The High School has committed to having another contest in the winter.
We discussed videoing the Christmas Programs. Decided we will do all three and charge $7 for each DVD.
