FEPO AUGUST 10, 2009
The meeting was called to order at 6:05.
Those in attendance were Lisa Taylor, Monty Melugin, Alana Holcomb,
Tammy Brown, and Connie Sorum.
Lisa read the minutes from the May meeting. Tammy made a motion to
approve the minutes as read; it was seconded by Connie and
accepted.
Connie read the Treasurer’s report. Lisa made a motion to accept
the report as read; it was seconded by Monty and accepted.
Discussed Mrs. Simmons receiving teacher allotment. The teacher
allotments will be distributed $50 first semester and $50 second
semester.
Connie asked if anyone had any info on a Tax exemption form. She
will check into matter.
School Board update- Monty said the last meeting was just getting
organized for the year.
Box Tops- Eric will talk to teachers when staff comes back about
High School homecoming contest.
There has been a suggestion of combining the Booster club and FEPO
and picking up Middle School. No decision was made, but there
wasn't any positive feedback.
Tammy will get the volunteer book back from secretaries and have
teachers try to fill in on Meet the Teacher night.

Possibly no August meeting next year
September we will plan Movie Night
November we will discuss Christmas DVDs
January we will begin planning Carnival
March we will discuss Spring DVDs and Carnival update
April we will discuss Teacher Appreciation and Carnival update
May we will review year and have Election of officers
Tammy discussed idea of setting up a FEPO email account and sending
out updates. Everyone approved this suggestion; Tammy will set up
the account.
The deadline for Special Project requests will be Oct. 31st, we
will discuss and make decisions at the Nov. meeting.
Connie suggested that FEPO, Booster Club and Site council help with
Baseball/Softball field cookbook fundraiser. Everyone agreed.
Meeting was adjourned at 6:40.
