Welcome to USD 492! We hope this web site will be your communication tool to keep up with what is happening in our school district. It is updated through the High School Digital Communications class, taught by Michal Austin.

While the site won't be a daily newspaper, by any means, it is certainly our goal to keep the content fresh and exciting in an effort to entice you to return often. In addition to stories and news, we will also be posting game scores, highlights, meal menus, club and organization features, ...the possibilities are endless!!
While we attempt to cover as much as we can in our school, there is just too much for one class to do (we also have assignments we have to work on!) If you have something you would like to add, please e-mail our webmaster with your story/event, and we'll try to get it on here.
So, we invite you to take a look now, and then keep checking in with us from time to time; hopefully you'll notice the changes, the new features, etc. Also, we encourage you to sign up for the e-mail list serve to get the latest news forwarded directly to you. Be sure to visit the calendar component of the web site. Sign up for weekly or monthly reminders for the events and activities you are interested in.
One new feature that we are planning to start is the addition of community news. If you know of anyone in our community who deserves recognition for their accomplishments please e-mail Michal Austin. Also, our alumni site is up and running, so if you are an alumni just send in an update on what you've been up to since you graduated. Be sure to include your graduation year!
